Friendly staff. Great service and good food

Very beautiful idyllic location, ideal for hiking. If you want to walk to the city and back and then want to see the city, which unfortunately is currently a single construction site, you have to be able to walk well and plan at least 4 hours in total. The house makes a very well-kept impression. Room cozy and quiet. The restaurant in the house could be a little more cozy, but there was plenty of space and the food was very tasty. In addition, a nice boss and nice employees, I was very satisfied. Thank you!

Nice little hotel, fantastically located. Very good and friendly service, breakfast with plenty of choice, dishes for lunch or dinner very tasty and quite generous portions. Nice beer garden / outside area. To recommend without reservation, will be happy to stay there again!

Food is delicious, reasonably priced. The service seems overwhelmed and you wait (mostly in vain) for desserts. You also have to wait forever when paying.

If you like a lot of salad, you are in the right place if you like meat on your plate and want to be full, go somewhere else is better. We're not even talking about the spoonful of sauce. All in all too expensive and nothing to fill you up

The observatory is a traditional excursion destination in the city of Gotha and the start or finish of my hikes over the Seeberg. Unfortunately the charm of the house has lost because the last operators wanted too much. There were hardly any guests on site today. The waiter was still very attentive and on the ball ?. My salad plate was crisp and overfull. Thank you.

The beer garden is actually very nicely laid out, but the equipment leaves a lot to be desired. The seat trailers were very dirty and full of holes. The menu is quite one-sided for our taste. - 2 starters, and apart from steaks there is not much left.

We walked up here from the zoo. The food took a long time but it tasted great. The adjoining playground made our child's waiting time sweeter.

We sat for half an hour because the waitress slipped past us what felt like 80 times and there was no reaction and the Corona issue is not really adhered to

We walked there from our garden and were pleasantly surprised. The food was very good and tasted great. Service very nice and friendly. We'd love to come back. Ambience also very good.

The food tastes very good and the ambience is also very pleasant, the location of the old observatory is also beautiful, I can only recommend everyone to try the menu. Keep it up.

Great location, fresh flowers on the tables, cloth napkins, interior decor a bit old. Very friendly and courteous service. Selection rather moderate, especially pork steak in various variations and fish (trout and salmon). Pleasant, the seasoned meat without mushrooms. Salmon pasta was freshly cooked, as was fish and meat. Reordering supplements was not a problem. Overall too expensive, or no balanced price / performance ratio. We were the only guests on a Tuesday evening (around 6:30 p.m.). Restaurant makes a clean impression. Espresso very good!

We had New Year's Eve there yesterday. It was very nice, the food was excellent and the staff very friendly. The staff went out of their way to make the evening special. That also worked well. We would like to thank you very much. We would be happy to recommend this house.

Really cute little hotel. The rooms are cozy and spacious and equipped with everything you need and expect. The breakfast is really very good. Here you can get your breakfast eggs prepared individually. The staff is really very nice and accommodating. If you are looking for a nice little hotel in the middle of nature, this is the right place for you. I can only recommend it.
